As most of you are no doubt well-aware, earlier this year, our friends in the North Island suffered devastating floods. Pastures were completely underwater, crops and produce beyond saving and infrastructure totally destroyed. We are excited to tell you we raised $8000 all together for the farmers effected by the floods.
Our hearts bled for our fellow farmers: those who raise animals, fruits & veggies, wine… and we knew that we had to do something.
The Hawke’s Bay region was one of the most affected regions in the January floods. Known for its plentiful sunlight, fresh air and pristine water, this area is often lovingly referred to as “New Zealand’s fruit bowl.” Drawing inspiration from this nickname, we created these gorgeous fundraiser pendants to celebrate our kin and to lend a helping hand. Because, life can throw you some sour lemons 🍋 but add a bit of apple juice 🍎 and it will sweeten the bite.
