Sterling silver bullet whistle - Whistle & Pop was established in 2017 and we have this whistle to signify this. Blending the whistle & the pop into one design. Pop stands for the bullet and whistle well that obvious

NOTE: We recommend this for more of a look piece not for working dogs in the farm day to day. This whistle is more of a refined design and is very hard to blow

NOTE: This whistle is harder to blow with the brass coin above the hole, please don’t get this whistle to use everyday on the farm. It’s more of a decretive piece t

Gold Plating Information & Care

Our 18k gold plated pieces are finished with a 1-micron layer of 18k gold over sterling silver.

Gold plating is a beautiful and more affordable alternative to solid gold, however it is important to understand that plating is not permanent. Gold plating is a little like a good pair of boots - it will show its journey over time. Like all plated jewellery, the finish will naturally soften with wear.

If you love something that stays golden forever, solid gold is your best bet. If you love a more affordable option and don’t mind the story it tells, gold plate is a beautiful choice.

With regular wear, exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, sweat, and friction, the gold layer will naturally fade over time.

The longevity of plating varies from person to person. Some customers enjoy their gold finish for many months, while for others it may soften sooner depending on lifestyle and wear.

To prolong your plating:
• Avoid wearing in water (showering, swimming, spa pools)
• Remove before exercising
• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, sunscreen and lotions
• avoid knocking on objects or other jewellery
• Store dry and separately

Re-Plating Policy

If your gold plating fades within the first 4 months of purchase under normal wear, we are happy to cover the plating cost but will need to assess the product before we make the final call (shipping not included).

After 4 months, re-plating is available at your cost.
Re-plating starts from approximately $80 for 2-micron 18k gold plating, depending on the piece.

If you prefer a finish that will not wear over time, we recommend choosing solid gold.
