Tarnished so quickly

I’m so disappointed in the quality of these earrings. I was given these as a gift and have worn them a total of 10 times at most and they have tarnished all over the ear piece. Even after looking after them by not wearing them in water or even sleeping in them. Such a shame considering the price.
